ARTBARN PAINT JAM VOL 2

It is incredibly heavy to write this, but the ArtBarn on Morrison Point must close its doors. This unfortunate closure is the result of a landlord decision stemming from a third-party argument that had absolutely nothing to do with him or me. While it is heartbreaking to see this chapter end abruptly due to circumstances entirely out of our hands, I want to focus on the immense beauty of what we built together. To the incredible Morrison Point neighbourhood and the vibrant visual art community of Prince Edward County: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your warm welcome, enthusiastic participation, and endless support made the ArtBarn a truly magical space. This is not the end—it is just a pause. The ArtBarn will return in a different format once all things have settled down and a new location is found. For now, let’s choose to celebrate. Last weekend’s paint jam was an absolute triumph.   My first large projet after retiring for full time production work with LNDMRK/Mural. This massive surface offered many challenges. Painted at the hottest time of the year. Colors! Rural community! Nature references! My 16 yrs old skateboarding self is so happy that I was able to happen. The eye of the osprey always watching!

MURAL XIII

  The final chapter of a 10 years stretch  @muralfestival Best team exit! A paint jam in the Mural Festival alley. Thanks to  @gavlois_   @501_plus_165  and my right hand for many years in production of this festival  @smittybacalley .  I leave with many memories and life long experiences, lifetime friendships. But as they say all things must come to an end.  This paint jam took place in the classic Mural alley behind the TD bank on Prince Arthur/ St Laurent. Paint over a couple of days in between heavy production.
