Renard Rouge (rue Notre Dame O. Salvation Army: Little Burgundy MTL)

Image
A newly purchased and renovated building's front foyer now has a freshly completed Mural done by yours truly. The theme is in my typical vain of image to place. When I first moved to Montreal 10yrs ago down the street from this location at a small park on a fall evening random encounter with a red fox in this urban setting marked me. I told myself if I ever do a Mural in this area I would recall this encounter in it.  A full wraparound Mural this the highlighted Red Fox welcomes you in the entrance of this building. Thanks to my friends at LNDMRK and the good people at MTRPL for this opportunity.

Urban Barn Quilt: Cardinal (St Henri, MTL)

Image
This Mural is my first 100% solo production in MTL. After many years of collaborations, production and assistance on countless murals, this is my first solo mural. The idea behind this mural is simple. Urban barn quilt, a sign of collectiveness and bringing people together. the colour palette bring together diversity and the cardinal is a representation of the building owner's father who recently passed. On rue Vaillant in quartier St Henri, Montreal. Completed in 14hrs straight, one day :)

Stackt Toronto X Mural Festival MTL

Image
Montreal come to Toronto for a Block party with Mural Festival Montreal. Murals, Pop up shop & Parties made this a successful collaboration between Stackt and Mural. I took on the lead production role with the responsibility of painting Maser's Mural for him, as scheduling conflict did not allow his to make his way to Toronto from Ireland. Look forward to more instalments of this collaboration.

Mural 2019

Image
Another year as both a participant and a production artist helping the roster of talent execute their Murals. As always a tuff gig, but well worth it and it shows in the results. highlighting both local and international talents from all forms of urban arts. In my participation this year I also added a few surprise pop up stencils on the festival grounds including the art pub, roof tops and random alley ways. My main piece was an installation presented at the main site south gate. A backlighting road sign with a significant highlight on urban vs rural, showcasing that one does not live without the other.
