Cube gallery in Ottawa will be hosting the labour day weekend long fund raiser for the Medecins sans frontière called Artist Against War. Here’s the piece I submitted titled Map with Toys. This photo was used for the inlay of John Akapta’s LP Kerheb. It always gets attention for it’s imagery.

Paperbag Junkies: Métaphysik  Paperbag Junkies, Ottawa newest clothing shop, will be hosting, Jamie Janx Johnston’s Métaphysik. This collection of Psychedelic landscapes from various scenes in the Ottawa Valley area. Showcasing framed prints and handcrafted magnets. Paperbag Junkies can be found on Dalhousie street in Ottawa’s Byward Market. Métaphysik is on till the first week of June.

Norml Clothing: Live from the Valley As the first, for the second... Norml clothing will be hosting Jamie Janx Johnston’s second solo exhibit: Live from the Valley. A collection of stage photography from various spots in the Ottawa Valley. Find these photos mounted and set in crates to resemble record digging. I’ve tried handcrafted magnets for the first time, they look great and make the perfe ct little stocking stuff. Norml Clothing: Places 2004 Norml Clothing is the setting of my first solo exhibit. Places 2004 is a collection on landscapes from my various treks around the canadian country side. I tiled numerous size prints the length of the side wall. Looks good and I’m excited to hear the reaction to my first show.
