Under Pressure 2011

Image
Montréal yearly graffiti and all around good times weekend was one again something with great diversity and talent. A weekend of bad weather did not push away the crowds and energy. My favorite being the POP UP SHOP. That exhibited artworks in an empty warehouse setting. Highlighting some works from many different mediums. Pretty hip way to spend a late Sunday afternoon visiting with friends from here and out of town...

House of Paint 2011

Image
Here we go another year with House of Paint. Ottawa’s Uban art/graffiti festival. This year’s participation is in the Connect Photo and Art exhibit held at Fall Down Gallery in the heart of Ottawa. I’ve place 6 images in this exhibit, all on the theme of Urban Ottawa. Check out this prep video and come see the works at the opening this thursday. From more details click here to see the FB event link for this exhibit.

Lac Bernard: Le Domaine Hudon 2011

Image
Caro has been a close friend for some years now, but, I had yet to spend some time with her and the gang @ le domaine Hudon on the Lac Bernard. Country setting, close friends, camp fire and of course a little jam session, makes me feel very lucky that I’ve been able to spend even more time out in the wilderness. Once again my camera followed and captured all the friends and family coming together.

Down by the River: Alexandria 2011

Image
The Summer’s yearly destination to Alexandria always bring out the fun of friends and family getting together. With a tree scavenger hunt, a BBQ, outdoor dance floor and a pool. This is the perfect environment to party. Another year to remember. Here’s a collection of some image also a montage video of the weekend’s craziness.

D/I/V/I/S/O/N

D/I/V/I/S/O/N: is a collective exhibit that was held over the weekend. Including Printmaking, Poetry, Mixed Media and Photography. I was asked if I wanted to participate a few weeks back, and decided it would be a great setting to present some of my most recent works from the Montréal Catalogue. Including a couple large Panoramic prints (rue Bleury and Metro: Ligne Orange). A little video of the set up and the images featured.
