Winterlude 2014




 The call out was "Winter Memory", the installation was a cabin... What to do? Well my greatest memories of Winter cabins was not the cabin itself but experiencing the outdoor. The most vivid being the night's sky, as it was the 1st time I ever saw the Northern Light and the 1st time someone told me all about the constellations. 

So then came the challenge to bring the outdoors indoor. The other challenge was to break out of my comfort zone and do more then photography. Here was my chance to dive back into graffiti art, stencilling and still present some photography all under the same little 8x8x8 space.

Also created a star column presented as a rotating pot belly stove, some journal entry inspired word with black light... There you have it:
